The Sound Town STRC-PE6U is a 6U rack road case with integrated microphone and accessory storage for transporting and protecting standard 19" rack gear. It is designed to consolidate mounted equipment and handheld accessories into a single portable unit.
Constructed from durable PE (polyethylene), the case provides impact resistance against drops, dust, heat, and everyday wear while maintaining a lightweight design for mobile use. Reinforced rack rails provide a 14" rack depth and up to 17" internal clearance including rear compartment space and enclosure.
The case features detachable front and rear lids for added storage and organization. One lid includes foam cutouts for up to three microphones, while the other provides a mesh pocket for cables, antennas, and small accessories. The molded PE exterior includes grooves for anti-slip handling and improved stacking stability during transport. Butterfly twist latches secure the case during transit, while a heavy-duty metal handle provides reliable portability for live sound, studio, and touring applications.
