The Sound Town STCA500-63 is a professional 2-channel commercial power amplifier delivering 500W RMS (2 × 250W) in 70V/100V operation, with additional support for 4–16Ω low-impedance speakers through its direct output terminals. Designed for multi-room installations, it features a dedicated 70V zone output section that provides three stereo or six mono zones using independent left and right volume controls per zone. This architecture offers exceptional flexibility for distributed audio environments while maintaining proper power routing and load management. An integrated clipping limiter helps safeguard both the amplifier and connected speakers from signal overload.
The amplifier offers comprehensive connectivity, including stereo RCA input/output, Optical (SPDIF), Bluetooth streaming, a USB/MP3 player, a recorder, and a built-in FM radio. Three microphone inputs are also provided, and all playback and source settings are conveniently managed through the clear front-panel LCD display.
For precise system tuning, the STCA500-63 provides six individual zone volume controls (Left and Right for each zone), along with master volume, left/right balance, global bass and treble, and dedicated volume knobs for Line, MP3, and SPDIF sources. Microphone control is equally flexible, with MIC 1–3 level adjustments, echo control available on Mic 2 and Mic 3, and a Mic 1 priority function offering adjustable attenuation from 0–30 dB to ensure important announcements override background audio when needed.
