The Sound Town SDRK-D8TD is a double-bay studio rack designed to organize and support rack-mount audio equipment in home studios, recording rooms, and professional environments. It features dual 8U rack spaces with a standard 19" width, making it suitable for a wide range of studio and audio configurations.
A 15° slanted design improves visibility and accessibility, supporting more efficient daily operation of installed equipment. Built from high-quality 5/8" (15mm) Baltic birch plywood, the rack delivers solid durability with a refined black espresso finish that integrates well into modern studio environments. Rear cable passthrough cutouts help maintain a clean and organized setup, while side cutout handles support easier lifting and positioning.
For secure equipment installation, the SDRK-D8TD includes pre-installed 10-32 threaded rack rails with mounting screws. The rack supports both mobile and fixed configurations, with four rubberized casters for easy movement and two locking brakes for secure positioning. Optional rubber feet can be installed for stable, non-slip placement when a stationary setup is preferred.
