The MODE Audio OS-28 is a passive dual 8" full-range weatherproof loudspeaker designed for high-fidelity sound reinforcement in indoor and outdoor applications. It features dual premium LAVOCE 8" neodymium woofers and an integrated LAVOCE 1.7" HF neodymium compression driver for precise, balanced, and detailed sound reproduction, rated at 600W RMS / 1200W program power at 16Ω.

A rotatable constant-directivity horn with an included 90°×60° coverage pattern and an optional 120°×60° coverage pattern (sold separately) ensures even coverage across the listening area, making the OS-28 ideal for vocal reproduction while serving effectively as a primary or fill speaker in live sound, installed systems, and immersive audio configurations. With a maximum SPL of 132 dB and a sensitivity of 99 dB (1W/1m), it delivers high-quality, clear output with minimal distortion and consistent tonal balance.

Housed in a compact, weather-resistant polyvinyl IP55 enclosure, the OS-28 has internal metal bracing engineered to minimize unwanted resonance while maintaining durability for both portable and permanent installations. Finished in a scratch-resistant coating with a heavy-duty aluminum grille, the weatherized enclosure provides protection against moisture, humidity, and dust. It supports flexible mounting options, including four built-in rigging points for suspended/flown installation, a standard 35mm pole socket for the STSD-71B speaker stand (sold separately), and two M10 insert points for horizontal wall mounting using the included U-bracket.
