At its core, the MTD48-D8 incorporates enhanced Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters, offering 4x1280 taps on inputs and 8x2048 taps on outputs for superior linear phase correction and magnitude response shaping. This processing power enables precise speaker optimization and advanced line array management. Connectivity is highly versatile, including 4-channel balanced XLR analog/AES digital inputs, 8 balanced XLR outputs, and 8-channel Dante network audio I/O with full primary/backup support. Designed for efficient control, the MTD48-D8 features a backlit LCD front panel and intuitive MCONSOLE software for Windows, providing full PC operation and visual signal routing. It comes with preloaded presets for most MODE Audio and Sound Town speakers, allowing quick setup, while also supporting user-created presets with up to 30 memory slots, including password-protected curves for different speaker types and full system configuration storage. The comprehensive DSP suite includes 15-band input PEQ, 10-band output PEQ, and 15-band speaker preset PEQ, along with dynamic EQ, noise gate, compressor, expander, limiter, delay, matrix mixing, and multiple filter types, providing secure, versatile workflows for complex audio environments.
