The Sound Town METIS-PRO18AS-PAIR is designed to deliver powerful low-frequency performance for professional sound reinforcement applications. This bundle includes:

• (2) METIS-PRO18AS Powered 18" PA Subwoofers

Each subwoofer features an 18" woofer with a 4" voice coil and 100 oz magnet, extending low-frequency response down to 35Hz.

The built-in 2400W Class-D plate amplifier in each subwoofer includes a 40-160Hz LPF crossover and a polarity (phase) switch for controlling low-frequency response and system integration, while a limiter helps protect the subwoofer from excessive signal levels. Multiple input and output options, including XLR-1/4" combo inputs, RCA inputs, XLR through and 100Hz high-pass outputs, and RCA outputs, provide flexible connectivity for a range of PA system configurations. An M20 threaded pole-mount socket also supports mounting a satellite speaker above each subwoofer.

Each METIS-PRO18AS features a durable birch plywood enclosure with an impact-resistant textured finish designed to minimize unwanted resonance and distortion. A heavy-duty metal grille protects the woofer, while two recessed ergonomic handles provide convenient transport. The METIS-PRO18AS-PAIR provides a complete pair of powered subwoofers for live sound, DJ systems, clubs, schools, houses of worship, and other professional audio applications.

• FLEXIBLE INPUT & OUTPUT CONNECTIONS: Each subwoofer features two XLR-1/4" combo inputs, two RCA inputs, two XLR through outputs, two 100Hz high-pass XLR outputs, and two RCA outputs for flexible connectivity within a variety of PA system configurations.
