The MODE Audio FILA-VA212 is a weatherproof, dual 12" passive line array loudspeaker engineered for high-output sound reinforcement. Equipped with dual LAVOCE 12" neodymium woofers and a 3" neodymium HF compression driver, it delivers an impressive 142 dB Max SPL with a frequency response of 42Hz–20kHz. The 2-way bi-amp design handles LF 1000W RMS / 2000W program power at 8Ω and HF 110W RMS / 220W program power at 16Ω, reducing distortion while maximizing driver efficiency for venues such as indoor amphitheatres and outdoor festivals.
Adaptability is built into every FILA-VA212. Choose from four selectable horizontal coverage patterns – 70° symmetrical, 110° symmetrical, and 90° asymmetrical left or right – to match a wide range of venue layouts while minimizing unwanted wall reflections. Combined with variable inter‑element angles adjustable in 1° increments from 0° to 10°, the system achieves ultra‑precise front‑to‑back SPL distribution, ensuring consistent, balanced sound coverage throughout the listening area.
Built to withstand the rigors of the road, the FILA‑VA212 features an IP65 weatherized, dustproof enclosure constructed from polyvinyl board with a black DURA‑COAT protective finish that helps suppress cabinet resonance and unwanted vibrations, and is fronted with a durable aluminum grille for driver protection. Integrated aluminum handles enable easy portability for efficient setup and teardown. For larger deployments, the system supports ground-stacked or flown configurations when paired with the FILA-VA212FF multipurpose frame (sold separately), accommodating up to 16 line array speakers in suspended arrays.
