The MODE Audio CB-12 is a passive full-range loudspeaker designed for high-fidelity sound reinforcement in professional applications. It features a premium 12" Italian FaitalPRO coaxial neodymium driver with an integrated 1.46" HF compression driver for powerful, balanced, and detailed sound reproduction, rated at 250W RMS / 500W program power at 8Ω.
A phase-coherent design with uniform 100° conical dispersion ensures even coverage across the listening area, making the CB-12 ideal for vocal reproduction while serving effectively as a primary or fill speaker in live sound, installed systems, and immersive audio configurations. With a maximum SPL of 129 dB and a sensitivity of 102 dB (1W/1m), it delivers higher output and efficient performance with consistent tonal balance.
The CB-12 is housed in a compact, tour-grade birch plywood enclosure engineered to minimize unwanted resonance while maintaining durability for both portable and permanent installations. Optional U-bracket mounting options (CB-12UH for horizontal or CB-12UV for vertical, sold separately) enable flexible deployment across stages, venues, and installed sound environments such as schools, restaurants, lounges, and performance spaces.
For optimized system performance, the MODE Audio CB-12 integrates seamlessly with the MODE Audio NTA3.4DSP amplifier (sold separately), supporting configurations of up to four CB-12 loudspeakers per channel. This allows for scalable, phase-aligned systems with consistent output and professional sound quality.
