The Sound Town CARME-212SWPW1.1 is a professional dual 12" folded horn subwoofer designed for powerful, controlled low-frequency performance in demanding live sound and installation applications. It is powered by a built-in 2-channel Class-D amplifier delivering up to 2400W combined output, with 1200W peak driving the internal subwoofer and 600W continuous / 1200W peak available via the Speakon output to power an additional passive speaker. This integrated amplification design allows the subwoofer to function as both a strong low-frequency foundation and a streamlined system hub for expanded setups.
Equipped with two high-performance 12″ woofers featuring 2″ voice coils and 50 oz magnets, the CARME-212SWPW1.1 produces deep, articulate bass that remains controlled even at high output levels. The compact folded horn enclosure increases acoustic efficiency and low-frequency projection, while the rigid 5/8″ birch plywood cabinet minimizes resonance and distortion, ensuring reliable performance in both portable and permanent installations.
Advanced onboard DSP provides four selectable presets along with manual 3-band EQ and delay controls, allowing precise tuning for different venues and system configurations. Connectivity and mounting options include dual XLR–1/4″ combo inputs, an XLR output, dual side-mounted M20 pole sockets for vertical or horizontal setups, integrated M8 rigging points, and True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Bluetooth. Together, these features make the CARME-212SWPW1.1 well suited for large venues, clubs, houses of worship, touring rigs, and professional event production environments.
